Ready! Set! Waiting... <_<
Its been awhile since I updated my journal so lets start with some funny shit...
Well first my switch box/surge protector for my computer has had a loose monitor switch for awhile, while it finally go so loose that it wouldn't stay on. I was attempting to work on my main PC and I could keep the monitor on cause the button kept falling out. I kept trying to get it back in so it would stop doing that... bad move. It blew up with a nice bright spark and a bit of smoke, causing everything to die... everything. I thought at first "Oh my god... hell no. Please no!" My custom built computer blew up... I joke about it when I have software issues but did I JUST do it!?
Luckly no, the surge poped the curuit breaker for half of my apartment. I reset it but I wasn't able to test it till I got a surge protector the next day from a Big Lots. I'm glad nothing broke on my computer regarding that.
GURPS, I've been saying that but I've been unable to complete everyone's profiles regarding it... that and the lack of replies when wanting to see what everyone wants to do isn't helping. My cousin is writing stuff for it and is willing to help people with the profiles since I work full time and he doesn't even work... well he works just not in the same manner I guess. XD
I've been on a Disgaea crazy, since my friend Lionell showed the game to me once. I spent like a whole day raiding different GameStops to find it and eventually got the orginal PS2 version. We got the second one and after playing a bit of that, came to a very clear review that the first game was better then the second game. I mean the battle graphics are cool in 2 but the story was just 'blah' nothing to it really. I felt 1 was insane (both in how good it was and how "REALY" insane it was). I wonder how 3 will feel when it comes out for PS3... which brings me to the point where unfornately I will have to buy a PS3. I mean Metal Gear Solid 4 was hard to resist but then to find out Disgaea 3 was coming out for it... god why must these games I REALLY want to play be on the system I don't really want to buy.
That and I wanted a 42" inch LCD screen, which I attempted for and was denined by reason of $$$, $$, and $. Don't think I've given up, I will kept trying!
Oh ya... and my car insurance and the remaining half of my school funds are needed next month... both of them. Aw hell! This sucks! I'm going to be broke of the entire month. I however do see a bit of hope as my friends got their surplus check are going to pay me off so I can finish building their custom PC. I already bought several parts of it, so I will get getting a return of hopefully around $80 dollars... enough for a tank and a half of gas. GOD BLESS GAS PRICES!
