Well I'm finnaly back from my trip to Cape Cod and it was fun visiting my cousins and my family again. My grandma, aunts, and my cousins, god I miss them.
So how was it you ask? Well the first day of our two day ride up was pretty boring... IF... I hadn't prepared with proper gaming gear and video equipment. Thanks to my mother's laptop I escaped boredom via watching Gundam SEED all over again (Yes, I most likely already watched through the whole seris like four times again.). With around 24 minutes of play time per epsiode and with 50 epsiodes that equals about 1200 minutes of playing time or in other words... 20 hours of video! YAY!
(Random Person) "You laptop will run out of power! HAHA! Then what!?"
*Kills random person*
Simple! Plug in the car adapter! ^_^ I enjoy technology too much don't I? Anyway, the trip was ok even if sitting a majority of the time in the back seat defeintly HURT my legs but I dealt with it. We stopped at a camp grounds (we have a travel trailer in tow on the truck.) and set up. It was a PAIN, I had to put down the stablizers with just a crank and you know what? They need some frickin OIL! Those things could have woken up the whole camp ground and my parents were like "crank it slowly!", it did make any fricking difference. *Expect to my legs which screamed in pains after crouching far too long in front of the stablizers. Afterward I almost went insantly to bed... well I COULDN'T. The heat was unbearable and my parents didn't leave the AC unit on cause "It was making too much noise.". My ass, leave it on ANYWAY! It was better then being hot... but of course this went unresolved.
*CRYS* I don't like going to bed sweating! It's so icky!!!
Ok next day we got back on the road and drove up all the way to the Cap now (They decided after the last night AC was staying on in the car at least! YAY!), and we set the trailer up in front of my grandma's cottage parking. (As it was the only place there was space). We set that up and ONCE AGAIN I set down the stablizers (My legs hurt again...) and wake up the area again with the crank as it STILL needs OIL! Afterward we finnaly STOP and stay hi to everyone and hugs and kiss's and all that. (Ya we started setting up before we even said 'HI!'). Anyway then we go to plug in the trailer up... well I bring the long power cord we got from the trailer and start to walk all the way to the back where THE ONLY POWER OUTLET is for the outside was... and then...
*YANK*
We didn't have enough cord we were about a yard short... god damn it. Anyway we go to run the water... *Looks at short water hose... looks at long distance.* Nope once again not enough to reach but at least we were able to 'borrow' the hose from the backyard shower and able to make that reach the trailer. So we had water... but no power. Well we did have the battery power but we can't run the AC on that or other things but we made do.
My cousins' and everyone decided to visit the beach and really after coming this far I wanted to see the beach as well. So my mother and I went with them and checked out the beach. I was able to talk to my cousin Rachel and my youngest cousin Ryan. Boy did I miss the times walking on the beach and BEING ABLE TO SEE THOUGH THE WATER... ever since I moved RED CLAY!!!!! I'm glad not to see any more red clay now on my vacation.
I checked up on my youngest cousin, Ryan when we got back to cottage. I found we is starting to minic me in a... well way that is freaking my out. I found he had brought his Gamecube and a little TV long with his games and such for it. *I had debted at home about bring mine but when finding out my friend had his own GC I figured to only bring my memory cards, controllers, and a few games.* He wanted to play so I did with him, I must say this much... his skills with Mario Kart: Double Dash is nothing to laugh at, as much as the first rounds he beat me but after a few warm up I found it really fun to play with him as he wasn't a push over... I kept this up for awhile till he got bored of it and wanted to play Mario Party, which I played as well and for the most part kicked everyone's butt in the mini-games part... as for the board game part...
*Sob* WHY!! ALL I got for rolls were like 1 and 2.
I managed to win it but still my crappy rolls where REALLY pissing me off *reminds me of my times back on PSO3!* Anyway I got tired after completing a round of Mario Party and headed off to bed. It was a hot night... with no wind... and since we had no power, we had no AC or fan.... NNNNNOOOOOOOO
*Crys* I REALLY DON'T BEING SWEATING WHEN SLEEPING!!! ITS [b]REALLY[/b] ICKY!
The next day, Friday and I had made plans to visit my friends earily in the morning and my grandma also wanted to waste cloths so we got in the truck *MY LEGS!!! NOOOOO!!!!* and headed off to my grandma's home to do some washing and then off to Andrew's to visit him and Kevin Nunes. It was fun visiting those guys again... I wish we had talked more then just played games like I had never moved but I guess random complete utter non-sense is what they do best. I got schooled in Halo 2 for the first like 5 rounds after that I started to do impressively better, I found out that I sucked with the sword so I simply never went to pick it up... I loved grabbing 2x SMGs and just blowing people away and you know what? It works! I kept killing everyone with two SMGs in one map... I kept running around in a circle with two SMGs and fired like mad at anything that moved... and even butted a few people to death. I did best with Shotgun and SMG... and a little bit with the Scoped Assault rifle... or whatever that is. I was able to talk to Nunes a bit about Gundam and I found he is only fond of the orginal, and HATES all the others. I personally saw Gundam SEED first and I guess that MAY be a reason why I like it better then most but anyway... Andrew's friend Keith came over and then we switched houses and went to Keith's and...
*Drools...* FUCKER!
60' inch FLAT SCREEN TV! OMG! SWEET! It was fun to play on with Halo 2 *Note: I thought Kevin was good... Keith was better!* Anyway we then went back ordered out got food and talked more random complete urtter non-sense... (fun-ish scene... when Andrew and Keith after much complaining about Kevin's BO sparyed him down with Axe body spary! OMG Still funny!) Anyway everything came to an end as my parents came to pick me up and brought me back to the Cap after picking up Grandma again... it had started to rain... which mad bring over all the dry cloths A LOT harder but we managed, and we got back it was getting late and I believed I played with Ryan some more before heading off to bed. This night had a breeze... but I still found it annoying to sleep, mainly cause I always like a sheet or blanket over me but I only had my sleeping bag (which was WAY too warm.) So basicly it was nice but ruined as I did like no sleeping with no covers.
I... I'm not sure what we did this day I believe me and my mother went to the beach by ourselfs and enjoyed a nice 3 mile walk down the beach talking about things and enjoying both the sun and the conversation (and a nice healthy walk.) we headed back and I wanted my cousin's opinion on a specific matter (My Cousin Rachel) and asked her to come to the backyard with my after I nabbed my mother's laptop. I was attempting to show her on of my LJ entrys as rexplaining things never was my best point and I REALLY didn't want to talk about it. (I love my grandma but some things she would NEVER understand... this being one of them.) Anyway while in the backyard and searching the computer for my raw entry that I had put on the computer... all of a sudden Windows XP does this...
Wireless Connection Found!
O_o Wtf!
It was so random! I was fricking online out of the blue! One of the neirhbors must have a wireless setup cause I hit it and was able to log on and check stuff and even find my orginal (and editted) JL entry. I saw Yoli was on as well and later on I did say hi! Well I showed her and she said there was nothing wrong with what I did as long as both of us were being real about it and showings our feelings. I felt a little confused now as I had several people mention how I did that out of lust and everything so I'm a little uneasy but then I passed it off. I asked for 'opinions' and I got 'opinions', I simply had forgotten that they aren't facts just what a person believes so really in the end I figured out time would tell if what I did was wrong or right. My youngest wanted me to play again so I did and all the way to bed time... which also had a nice breeze but once again the cover issue still not be resolved I found myself unable to get a good nights rest.
The next few days are almost all repeats of each other, me and my mother did a long walk down the beach and talked and then we went and visited all the trincky places like Cape Cod Trade Winds, which brought back a lot of memories and other suchs places. I played with my youngest cousin a lot on his Gamecube and showed him some of my Gundam SEED Collection I had on brought with me, he liked watching the english edition of the first 5 shows but seemed to loss interest when attempting to show the rest in Japanese... I guess most people get annoyed at the inabilitily to understand what they are saying. I hope to buy the rest of the english edition when I get some more money but oh well... we managed to go out to eat once since money was very tight and I got New England Clam "Chowdah" since in South Carolina, they don't have it ... or when they do it SUCKS. I had two bowls of that and a burger... (Really all I wanted was the Clam Chowder but the burger was good!). I was able to buy a few gifts for myself... and for a special someone. I really missed my grandma and my cousin's and it was nice to see them.
If there is one thing I was thinking while there it was how great it is to have an outdoor shower. I had REALLY starting to become smelly and messed up so I really needed it and the outdoor shower rocked. GOD I miss the Cap! I was able to finnaly get all washed up and ok but I was unable to do anything about my face... the heat was making my face a distaster, I wanted to inch my face like mad as actmy was REALLY coming out in the heat... (which made me want to inch it off more then ever now that it was coming out in the heat.) The bugs also got me one night while talking with Yoli... as much as I don't regreat the conversation... Yoli... when I said I was getting bitten... OH FUCK WAS I GETTING BITTEN! I should have worn a sign that said...
"Free Human Blood Bank! POKE ANYWHERE!"
I'm paying for it now of course but like I said I don't regreat it as later on we found the wireless connection stopped and never returned. I guess they figured out someone else was using there connection? Or maybe they decided to leave the Cap and turned it off... point was it was no longer there. After several walks on the beach and much enjoyment the trip came to an end and we were forced to leave, we all said I good byes and headed off. Iy seemed to me that Ryan is very fond of me... and in a way he reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger... that may be good and bad at the same time. I was able to see my other cousin's as well, mainly Kelly my second youngest cousin which to me comes off as a little too... bratish... I can't find a better word for it as she comes off a little too full of herself. anyway we all said our goodbyes and headed off... and I'm getting tired so excuse some of my lossy wording here...
Our two day trip back was pretty ok, I watched my Gundam SEED AGAIN to keep me busy and we got to the camp grounds LATE and almost after they closed (We would have been so FUCKING screwed if that had happened.) The site was easy to setup... and once agian I set down the stablizers... NNNOOOOOO!!!!! (Legs... HURT!) This time we turned the AC blasting and went to bed after the trailer had already gotten nice and cold... once again I was unable to sleep very well do to lack of covering... *sigh* some sleeping habits never change. We set off the next day and well... obvisily I made it as I'm posting this... and as for what I did when I got home... I was very much rushed to download Gundam SEED Destiny 38 which had come out subbed over my vacation... only to be downed by the fact it was mostly a filler epsiode but the next one awaits! I wish I could have helped my parents out with the driving but I didn't think I could do it with the trailer and my lack of experenance. I may add to this entry but for now I'm taking a shower and calling it a night. I'll be better after a good nights rest here!
